Should I buy more RAM?
Working hardly on my PC for a long time, I'm getting such workloads
and things are painfully slow.
Nevertheless, 1.5 GB is constantly available, no matter what. Moreover, Mark Russinovich is very concrete, answering whether I need to buy more memory: "If available memory becomes scarce, that means that processes or the system are actively using physical memory, and if it remains close to zero over extended periods of time, you can probably benefit by adding more memory." I see that 1.5 GB that I have always free is much more than 0. So, should I believe Mark and his tools or rush to get at least 9 GB? How much should be the file cache, taking the workload into account?
